The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the home. Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. Additionally it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In robot vacuum cleaner reviews of the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy but its cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds a decent amount of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot.
